The Census Bureau has proposed several permanent changes to the Decennial Census, many of which could impact the accuracy of population and demographic data and downstream survey instruments that ultimately inform federal funding allocations. NACHSA submitted comments urging Census to withdraw the rule, citing the role that accurate census data plays in ensuring human services programs adequately meet the needs of county residents.
