NACHSA Supports Increases in Federal APS Funding

NACHSA sent this letter to Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden (D-OR) supporting his bill, the Elder Justice Reauthorization and Modernization Act of 2021 (S.2674) to appropriate $400 million annually to support state and county adult protective services (APS) programs. A companion bill (H.R. 4969) has been introduced by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal (D-MA) and a similar letter was sent to him.
